Qld: Three year old stabbed
BRISBANE, April 27 AAP - A three-year-old girl was in a serious condition after being
stabbed yesterday, police said.
A spokeswoman said the toddler was stabbed in a house at Kiel Mountain on the Sunshine Coast.
Police were notified around 5.45pm (AEST) and it is believed the girl was stabbed three
times, with one wound piercing her lung.
She underwent emergency surgery at Nambour Base Hospital.
Police are interviewing the girl's mother and grandmother.
