NSW: Search resumes for man missing after boat accident

SYDNEY, Dec 11 AAP - The search for a man missing after a boating accident near Tamboy,
on the mid-north coast of NSW, will resume today.

The 30-year-old Medowie man was one of four men in a 5-metre aluminium boat that struck
a marker on the Myall River about 10pm (AEDT) yesterday.

Two men were thrown overboard, but a search by those still in the boat and a nearby
vessel only located one of them, police said.

The Westpac helicopter and Port Stephens Water Police joined the search but were unable
to find the other man last night.

The search was to resume at first light this morning, with the assistance of the National
Parks and Wildlife Service.
