NSW: Premier too early to praise new pub laws: BOSCAR

SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - Premier Nathan Rees has been too quick to claim new measures imposed
on 48 pubs across NSW have brought about a reduction in alcohol-related violence, the
state's own crime statistician says.

Mr Rees on Friday said the latest police figures showing a reduction in assaults and
no glassing attacks meant the measures, including a 2am lockout and a ban on glasses after
midnight, were working.
